Put down that ice cream! iced latte...No! However ,Hot Tea 🍵...Yes! Soup 🍲 🍜 Yes


So, as the above gives a small clue...cold and damp foods both are not advisable in winter .... What does this remind you of? Cold and flu symptoms perhaps. Even sinus sufferer's. 🤧 Phlegm...mucous.


Damp foods ? You may ask what are they, often dairy products. Excess wheat and gluten may also create damp....bananas 🍌 are also considered both cold and damp according to Chinese Medicine.... These are only some examples.


Yes, diet can and may effect you ,if consumed at the wrong time of year, especially winter.


Cold weather, means warm food and drinks. Room temperature is also acceptable.


Think, Soups, Scrambles ,Stir Fry's and Stews....but Don't think Ice cream🍨, salad 🥗 or ...sorry ...Sushi 🍣...Cold and raw food may produce phlegm and damp.


Also , for the ladies, cold food and drinks may effect menstrual cycles , via obstructing the uterus, which prefers a warm environment. Pregnant ladies, this is extra important information as Cold may cause stagnation to occur in the organs and channels.


So warm up this winter, the right way, your stomach will thank you for it...and so to ...your health
